Boston Terrier

Sometimes called "the American gentleman among dogs", the Boston Terrier is loving and sensitive, merry and bright, at times a clown, and has a deep love for his family and children. Boston Terriers will usually get along well with other family pets if introduced to them at a young age.

They are relatively inactive indoors, and they do okay without a yard. They are sensitive to weather extremes (both hot and cold). Regular walks or sessions of free play in a fenced-in yard are all the Boston Terrier needs to stay in shape. The Boston Terrier has no desire for long walks, but does like to go everywhere you go. And if you should happen to go for a long walk, don’t be surprised if your Boston decides to just sit down and take a break. Luckily, most Boston’s are small and easy to carry.

The Boston Terriers coat is short and smooth, and is easy to groom. Comb and brush with a firm bristle brush and bathe only when necessary. Wipe the face with a damp cloth every day and clean the eyes carefully. Check both the ears and eyes for grass seeds. Ticks may also lurk in the ears. The nails should be clipped from time to time. This breed is an average shedder.

Oh, one more thing... If you are thinking of sharing your bed with your Boston Terrier, I should probably warn you that they have a tendency to snore. And rather loudly at that.

we have a boston terrier named Layla. She gets on her hind legs and go around in a circle like she is dancing for her treats.

i have a boston terrier shees 3 and snores like mad but i love her so much im only therteen and shes my pride and joy shes so funny her names scrumpy i luv u scrump love soph********xxxxxxxxxxoooooooxxxxx

Cheryl and me just LOVE our boston named Abigail.
She has filled our lives with so much love and laughter that...... well, only people who are owned by boston's know what I'm talking about.
